(born 1945) Philip, obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in economics and then a Certificate in the Theory of Accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1971. He then qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1972.
He has been a partner in two of the large audit firms in South Africa as well as a small audit firm carrying out audits and general financial and tax advice. He ran his own insolvency practice before joining Deloitte & Touche as the head of Corporate Recovery and Insolvency and was also a partner in the Corporate Finance division.
He retired in 2009 and now acts as a consultant to Deloitte and for other smaller firms.
(born 1963) Dawie, obtained a N.Dip in Electrical Eng in 1985 during a ten year tenure with the SADF. He started a Security Group in 1989; a highlight was obtaining the contract for security services for the 1995 Rugby World Cup and the 1996 African Cup of Nations.
During this period he read for the Senior Management Program at the University of Pretoria. He was voted South African Junior Businessman of the Year by the JAS in 1994. From 1997 he was involved in the development of the first Vehicle Management System in South Africa, resulting in the founding of Sempres International Technologies that listed in 2000.
He resigned as the CEO of Sempres in 2001 and until 2009 he was the CEO of the Global Day of Prayer Transformation Network.
(born 1960) Jonathan, obtained a Batchelor’ of Commerce (Hons) from the University of Cape Town in 1983 and subsequently qualified as a Charted Accountant in 1986.
He then completed an ACMA and an MBA from Insead (France) in 1987 and 1994 respectively. He initially worked at Deloitte & Touche as an Associate Director before moving to Sefalana as an Executive Director. Since the completion of the MBA he spent eight years as a Partner at Capricorn before joining Comtech as a Managing Shareholder.

(born 1960) Brian, started his career in the early 1980’s, after finishing school in Pretoria, working in various IT related positions and finishing with Sappi in 1996. Having been with Sappi for some 11 years, during which Sappi became an international player, Brian gained invaluable experience both locally and abroad in the IT arena.
In 1997 he joined a privately owned entity, Comtech, and became a major shareholder and MD through to 2007 when the business was bought by the Altech Group. He then went on to head up a new entity called Altech Netstar Fleet Solutions through to mid 2009.
Since then, Brian, has been involved in various entities including CWCSA as well as an export business to the Middle East and a Wind Turbine business from Holland.
